Fantasy Hockey at the Quarterpole - The Good

The Good Fantasy Impact
Jarome Iginla leading the scoring race 19GP, 16 Goals (8 PPG), 15 Assists, +16, 25.8 Sh% - Can he keep this up?
Steve Yzerman refusing to show his age 21GP, 6 Goals (1PPG, 1SHG), 17 Assists, +8, 48 Shots - His numbers have been truly amazing.
Theoren Fleury's amazing comeback from substance abuse problems.   22 GP, 8 Goals (2PPG), 14 Assists, +15, 88 Shots - New confidence - the Eric Lindros effect??
The Islanders - Don't you hate that they can make Mike Milbury look this good? Fantastic play from Alexei Yashin, Mike Peca, Mark Parrish, and Chris Osgood. They're starting to slow now but they should make the playoffs.
Those amazing Hurricanes  Ron Francis, Jeff O'Neill and Sami Kapanen are the most productive line in hockey right now.
Chris Chelios - back from the scrap heap There are many people who had written him off, but with 11 points and a +17 that would definitely be premature
Top of the Rookie Class Kristian Huselius (FLA), Dany Heatley (ATL) and Mark Bell (CHI) are at the top of the rookie scoring list with 15, 15, and 14 points respectively.
Great Goalie Comebacks Chris Osgood, Roman Turek, and Tom Barrasso were all but written off by the media and fans. They've all adapted to their new surroundings extremely well.
Great Backups - When will these goalies get the shot they deserve Jani Hurme (OTT), Marty Turco (DAL), and Marc Denis (CLB) are all extremely talented. Hurme and Turco continue to make life difficult for their #1 while Denis has already staked his claim to the #1 job in Columbus.
Top Surprises - They came out of nowhere Todd White (15 points and +15 in Ottawa), Craig Conroy (20 points and a +14 in Calgary) and Trent Klatt (12 points and a +7 in Vancouver) are all players who were probably free agent pickups in your league.
